  • Catholic Charities of Southern Nevada — Hands of Hope Community Food Pantry

    Choice food pantry in Las Vegas (fresh produce, baked goods and staples when available) for individuals and families. Bring a government ID and proof of residence dated within 30 days; staff can help you get a Clarity Card.

  • Food Bank of Northern Nevada — Get Help

    Free groceries at distributions and neighborhood pantries across northern Nevada and the eastern California Sierra, with a quick, private check-in (bring ID if you have it; you'll be helped either way), plus help with other food resources.

    Community health centre with six sites in Reno and Sparks: maternal and prenatal care from the first trimester through postpartum, OB/GYN, pediatrics, dental, behavioral health (ask for a consultation during a medical visit), WIC, pharmacies and insurance enrollment help.

  • FirstMed Health and Wellness Center

    Southern Nevada community health centre offering primary and preventive care at a discounted fee to people who are uninsured or undocumented, and to Medicaid patients, at clinics in Las Vegas (400 Shadow Ln. #104) and North Las Vegas (3940 N. Martin Luther King Blvd., Suite 110). Its Eastern Ave. clinic is closed until further notice.

  • Nurse-Family Partnership — Nevada

    A registered nurse visits expectant parents at home during pregnancy and the child's first years, about two and a half years in all. Nevada's program is run by the Southern Nevada Health District. Nurse-Family Partnership is now run by Changent.

    Free emergency items for kinship caregivers (relatives raising children): clothing, shoes, diapers, formula, car seats and cribs. After an intake, families can shop the market once a month by appointment; clothing, diapers and hygiene items come through your Family Advocate.

    Non-emergency rides for Nevada Medicaid members (managed care and fee-for-service) to covered appointments: door-to-door or curb-to-curb rides, including Uber or Lyft, or gas mileage reimbursement.
